These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the FlashLearn mobile application (“the app”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

FlashLearn is an educational app for learning English vocabulary with flashcards, built-in lessons, a searchable dictionary, and optional import of your own lesson files.

You agree to use the app only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial learning purposes. You may not:

  • Use the app for illegal activities
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or hack the app
  • Redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit app content or software
  • Interfere with the app’s normal operation or security

2. Educational Content and Imported Lessons

The app includes built-in vocabulary and lesson content for study purposes. You may also import lesson files from your device (for example .flashlearn, JSON, or CSV formats).

  • You are responsible for any content you import or create in custom lessons.
  • Do not import material that infringes copyrights or violates applicable laws.
  • Alyes Apps is not responsible for user-imported content.

3. Accounts

FlashLearn does not require you to create an account. Learning progress and settings are stored locally on your device unless otherwise stated in our Privacy Policy.

4. Advertising and In-App Purchases

The free version of the app may display banner advertisements.

  • You may purchase a one-time Remove Ads in-app product (flashlearn_remove_ads) to disable banner ads permanently on that store account.
  • Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Pricing, refunds, and purchase restoration follow the respective platform policies.
  • Subscription management is not applicable to the Remove Ads non-consumable purchase; use Restore Purchases in Settings if you reinstall the app.

5. Intellectual Property

All app software, design, branding, and built-in content provided by Alyes Apps are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

  • You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the app for personal learning.
  • You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from the app or its built-in content except as permitted by law.

6. Third-Party Services

The app may integrate with third-party services, including:

  • Apple App Store / Google Play (distribution and in-app purchases)
  • Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) for advertising
  • Google User Messaging Platform (consent, where applicable)
  • System file and media pickers on your device for importing lessons

Use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies.

7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

FlashLearn is provided for language learning support. We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes, uninterrupted service, or error-free operation.

  • The app is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law.
  • Alyes Apps is not liable for data loss on your device, device issues, or indirect damages arising from use of the app.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws.

8. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in Turkey, unless mandatory local consumer laws require otherwise.
